Outback Steakhouse Coconut Shrimp Recipe


Sauce:
0.5 cup of orange marmalade
0.25 cup mustard Grey Poupon country
0.25 cup honey

3 to 4 drops of Tabasco pepper sauce (I like to use more!)
Mix 'em together!
Coconut Shrimp Outback Steakhouse - Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Peel, devein and wash shrimp. Dry with paper towels and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients, except coconut.
Add 2 tablespoons. oil and ice water. Mix well.
Adding a large amount of oil in deep fryer or deep pan. Heated to 350 degrees.
Spread a thin layer of coconut on a plate.
Dip shrimp in batter, then roll in coconut (coconut, add more if necessary).
Fry in hot oil for 4 minutes or until golden brown.
Drain the shrimp, place them on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
Enjoy the incredible dipping sauce.
