Summer Fun Snacks for Kids


Carrot and Ginger Dip

It is difficult to reach the younger to eat vegetables, but with this carrot and ginger sauce, you can get them to order more. Kids enjoy dipping pureed foods so you will have a lot of fun with this. The ingredients include ½ teaspoon sugar or honey, vinegar ½ teaspoon white table or ½ teaspoon kosher salt, ¼ cup plain yogurt, ¼ teaspoon curry powder, ½ inch piece ginger, 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 carrots medium. First, cut carrots and ginger. Place the carrots and ginger slices in steamer and steam for 10 minutes, until carrots are tender. Put steamed carrots and ginger in a food processor and add the remaining ingredients. Then mix until the mash is smooth. For smaller, the carrot and ginger dip can be served with steamed vegetables and rolls, while older kids will love with cucumber slices or carrot sticks.

Strawberry Split
Children eat a lot of ice cream in the summer, so why not make it even more fun for them? Divide strawberry is almost the same as Banana Split so just means you are not using bananas, but the strawberries! With a sharp knife, small strawberries cut into halves. Then put a few spoonfuls of ice cream your child favorite in a shallow bowl, small. Then just add the strawberries, whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles, and anything else you like boy.
